ACT Prep Class
Class to begin in January.
Group A meets Mondays & Wednesdays Group B meets Tuesday & Thursday
Both groups will meet on alternate

ACT Prep Information
Act prep sessions for juniors will begin after Christmas Vacation. Sign-ups will be with Mr. McDonough, beginning December 10 and ending Tuesday, January 5th, our second day back from break. These sessions do not guarantee you a 36 on the ACT, but will familiarize students with the format and "quirks" of the test. There is no charge, so you will definitely get your money's worth. Each group will meet just about every other day during homeroom from January 7th until March 31st, the last day of school before the spring ACT is offered. We will also have at least one practice test (Sunday, Feb. 14)
Important Note- Except for math sessions, the ACT Prep groups will have 50 or more students in them, all packed into one classroom, so a certain degree of cooperation will be required and expected. Students should commit themselves to these sessions as to a regular class. They should be on time, avoid conflicting activities, and be prepared to pay attention. Those who prefer to eat, drink, sleep, text, play cards, gossip, daydream, or vegetate should just remain in homeroon and enjoy themselves. Those who are chronically missing, late, or inattentive will be dismissed and will receice a full refund!

College Visits

As seniors continue to visit colleges, this is a good time to remind parents of the regulations regarding these visits.

1. Unless an official visit or tour is scheduled, all visits should be made on weekends.

2. To arrange a college day, contact the college's admission department for their visiting procedures.

3. In the case of an official visit, a form from the counselor is required to be completed at least three days in advance of the visit.

4. The principal and the teachers of the student must sign this form.

5. Absolutely no college visits during the fourth quarter of the school year are allowed.

Before arranging any college visits, contact Ms. Stropko or Mr. Brinkman for a permission form. Please remember these regulations as you plan ahead with you child.
