Intramural Basketball Rules

Rules of Conduct

1. Intramural basketball is a school function. Therefore, all school rules apply.
2. Students who participate in intramural represent our school and are
expected to use appropriate behavior.
3. Students may not play if absent from school the day of a game.
4. The "Student Smoking tobacco Policy" will be enforced.
5. Arguing with officials will not be tolerated.
. 6. Team captains are responsible for the behavior of the members of their teams.  

League Rules

1. Games will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday of each week. There will be no games during exams or during Christmas break.
2. Games will be played at Sports of All Sorts in Florence .
3. The league will last 9 weeks plus tournament.
4. The cost per player will be $15.00 and needs to be in by the second game.
5. Games will start at 3:15 with the last game starting at 4:10.
6. Everyone must complete an emergency form.
7. Players are responsible for their own transportation
8. Any player who cannot come to the game must notify their team captains.
11. If a player cannot wear their team jersey they must wear a shirt of similar color.

Game Rules

1. Games are 40 minutes in length. 20 minute running clock.
2. Everyone must play equally.
3. Player fouls out on the 5th foul.
4. Bonus after 6 fouls-no double -bonus.
5. Each team gets two time outs during the game.
6. Ties will be decided by a free throw shoot out at the end of regulation time. Best of five.

Tuition Raffle
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Scheper, parents of Alanna. They won a year's
free tuition from Holy Cross High School through the tuition raffle.
Tickets for the 2008-2009 annual tuition raffle are now on sale
 The cost of the ticket is $25 and the prize is one year
in-district tuition plus fees for Holy Cross High School.  Only 400 tickets
will be sold.  The drawing will be held at the Indian Summer Festival in
September 2008.  To purchase a ticket send a check to the High School for
25.00 payable to Holy Cross High School

Numerous items are going unclaimed, check the office if you are missing anything.  Any unclaimed items will be donated to charity at the end of the school year.

Weekly Bingo
Holy Cross High School has a bingo in the cafeteria every Monday night.  Doors open at 5:30 and games begin at 7:00.  We always need volunteer adults to help-contact the office if interested
