The girls played well in Frankfort yesterday beating Frankfort 8-0.

Next scrimmage will be Soccerama held at Grant Co. this year versus Ryle.

The girls open their season against Scott on Mon 8/14 at home (Eva Farris Complex).

Girls played to 0-0 tie on Monday.
Nice shutouts for both goalies: Renee Reed (HC) Sarah Bezold (Scott)

Girls freshmen played Ryle on Tue. Holy Cross wins off of two goals by Hillary Wehrman, younger sister of Senior, Courtney Wehrman

Girls soccer played well at West Jessamine ending in a 3-3 tie.
Sam Bradford scored 12 seconds into the game setting a HC record for quickest goal from the start.
Chrissy Sonderman scored the other two goals, one off an assist from Stacey Flesch and the other coming off a corner kick.

4 goals were scored in the win over Simon Kenton. Goals came from Stephanie Howard, Allison Arnado, Chrissy Sonderman, and Bethany Winter. FB Emily Buckingham assisted on two of the 4 goals.

Chrissy Sonderman scored 3 goals and had one assist in the 4-0 win over St. Henry on Aug 23.
Allison Arnado scored one goal.

Samantha Bradford added two assists with Madison Galloway contributing with one assist.

Renee Reed collected her 3rd shut out of the season.

Soph. Midfielder Stephanie Howard will be having surgery on her thumb due to an injury received during the Simon Kenton match. We're hoping to have her back soon.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Scheper, parents of Alanna. They won a year's
free tuition from Holy Cross High School through the tuition raffle.
Tickets for the 2008-2009 annual tuition raffle are now on sale
 The cost of the ticket is $25 and the prize is one year
in-district tuition plus fees for Holy Cross High School.  Only 400 tickets
will be sold.  The drawing will be held at the Indian Summer Festival in
September 2008.  To purchase a ticket send a check to the High School for
25.00 payable to Holy Cross High School

Holy Cross High School has a bingo in the cafeteria every Monday night.  Doors open at 5:30 and games begin at 7:00.  We always need volunteer adults to help-contact the office if interested
