Latonia History Mural Project 2004
The Holy Cross Art Club led by teacher Craig Lipscomb,
created seven murals that were mounted over the seven currently covered windows on the north side of
Bernhard's Bakery in Latonia. The murals are about 3 1/2' x 6' and are painted on plywood.
The murals are now in the possession of the Latonia Business Association, who are searching for ideas
of what to do with the murals.
The theme depicts a piece of Latonia history through art.
There were fourteen students involved in the project and it took 1200 hours to complete.

Latonia History Mural Project

Students' mural evokes the price Christ paid

This mural, in room 4, was painted by Class of 2006 alumni Rebecca Stadtlander and Will Talbert (painted during their Senior year) at the request of Mr. Westerman, It serves as a reminder to students
"of the price Christ paid and to point them in the right direction every day"

The Art Club visit Chicago and their Art District each Spring.  Contact Mr. Lipscomb for more information on next year's trip

NKU Dragon Days at Newport on the Levee
