Message

A letter to our website viewers:

My name is Teresa Meeks and I am both privileged and blessed to be currently employed at Holy Cross High School as Campus Minister. It is an exciting ministry that reflects, in new ways each day, the Christian ideals of the families who send their children here.

Unlike so many of my colleagues, I am not a graduate of Holy Cross. In fact, I am not even a native to the tri-state area. I have lived all over the country and I can honestly say that I have never felt more at home than in Kentucky. And at the heart of that feeling is Holy Cross High School. Ask any of my three children, who did graduate from Holy Cross, and they will sing its praises. One of the greatest testimonies to this fact is that my daughter, Kris Meeks Bailey (1997) is now a colleague of mine. This place is truly a family affair.

Welcome to Monsignor William Neuhaus, who has been appointed by Bishop Foys as the Holy Cross High School, School Pastor. This position has been created by Bishop Foys to assist diocesan schools with their Catholic identity and religious instruction. Fr. Tom Robbins will continue to teach at HCHS and to serve as the school’s chaplain. In addition, Fr. Jeff Von Lehman, pastor at St. Pat’s, continues to teach junior religion.

*Seniors you might want to think about taking your ACT early so you don't have a conflict with the retreat dates when you are seniors. As seniors you are expected to attend one retreat date as part of your graduation requirement. Sports schedules should also be reviewed when scheduling your retreat date. Tuition Raffle
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Scheper, parents of Alanna. They won a year's
free tuition from Holy Cross High School through the tuition raffle.
Tickets for the 2008-2009 annual tuition raffle are now on sale
The cost of the ticket is $25 and the prize is one year
in-district tuition plus fees for Holy Cross High School. Only 400 tickets
will be sold. The drawing will be held at the Indian Summer Festival in
September 2008. To purchase a ticket send a check to the High School for
25.00 payable to Holy Cross High School

Sports passes will be available in the office and at the gates.

Weekly Bingo
Holy Cross High School has a bingo in the cafeteria every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 and games begin at 7:00. We always need volunteer adults to help-contact the office if interested
