Faculty Spotlight

Mejia

Congratulations to our Spanish Department Chairwoman, Mrs. Caroline Mejia, for being accepted into the prestigious Fulbright-Hays Program through Xavier University.  Caroline will be completing a six month program that culminates in an immersive four-week experience this summer in Columbia.  She will be focusing on Columbian culture, social justice in Latin America, and Spanish language immersion.  The program even includes opportunities for our students to connect virtually with students in Columbia for cross-cultural exchange and learning.  We are proud of Caroline's efforts and cannot wait for her to bring the invaluable lessons she learns back to our HC students!
