Exciting State Meet for the HC Swim Team

What an exciting close for the Holy Cross Swim Team! The swim team competed at the KHSAA State Swim and Dive Meet over the weekend in Lexington.  The boys finished 42nd led by senior Barrett Dirst.  He finished 15th in 100 Back and 16th in 500 Free.  He is the first male swimmer in the 28 year history of the team to compete at swimming finals and finish top 16.  Barrett along with AJ Broering, Evan Ward, and Abe Highfield finished 20th in the 400 freestyle relay.  It is the highest finish in school history for the 400 free relay. Congratulations to the boys on a great season.
