Congratulations to the Indians on winning the 9th Region tournament and heading on to State!  The team took on Dixie in the first round of the tournament defeating them 7-3, then faced Ryle in round two, and won 3-1 against the Raiders.  In the finals against three time repeat Regional champs Highlands, the team came back to win.  They were down 2-0 with 2 outs in the 7th inning, when they loaded the bases and Kayla Fledderman hit a walk-off grand slam to win the game! This is the first time Holy Cross has won the Fastpitch Regional Semi-finals or Finals in school history, and the first time that they've won a Fastpitch Regional Tournament game since 2010. Congrats to the girls and their coaches on a fantastic tournament!  We wish you all good luck at state!
